A history of tradition and religion
The term ‘Chrysorroyia’ originates from ‘Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate’.
The Chrysoroyiattisa Winery (Chrysorroyia) is located in the area of Chrysoroyiatissas monastery in Panayia village of Paphos. Historically the winery not only has started from the underground areas of the monastery, but also from the old jars since 1725 AC. The old winery has reopened in 1984. The new facilities are placed in the vineyards of the monastery by investing in modern technology and wine making procedures.
